HOLIDAY MUSINGS

I always kind of dread the holiday season. Sure, the music and decorations and classic shows all get us into our own special kind of mood, but I end up spending an entire paycheck on friends and family, as I’m sure they do as well. I often wonder, why can’t we just forego the present part and just get together for dinner?
I’m going to be spending the entirety of today going to various appointments: dentist, doctor, and optometrist (get it all out of the way!). And in between will be Christmas shopping. Why is it that my day off must be spent doing un-fun things?
Did you all get your holiday shopping done? If you don’t really celebrate a holiday this time of year, do you do anything special with your family or friends? Oh, and if you do celebrate a holiday and have bought some presents by now, which present was most fun to buy?
For me, I finally get the chance this year to get a present for a boyfriend—MY boyfriend. :) I got him a video game. :-/ I’m also going to be going by Victoria’s Secret to buy something special for us. ;D Aw yeah…
