Hello! I’ve been back from my trip to the UK for nearly two weeks. It’s taken that long to sort through and upload all of my pictures! A couple of tips for visiting the United Kingdom: pick a single destination for your trip, or else budget more time. I and my traveling companion visited three cities in nine days and the time we spent at the airport or on planes was a big dead fly in the middle of our piece of cheesecake. (Eww, what a nasty mental image.) Another tip would be to take whatever you’ve budgeted for trains or food and double it. You can plan to use the cheaper modes of transportation, but accidents, buses gone MIA, and completely unforeseen expenses will pop up. One last tip is that if you need to be able to still check your email, take a laptop along. WiFi is far cheaper, perhaps even free, but using the Internet on a stationary computer cost us up to £3 for a measly fifteen minutes. That’s about $19 an hour!
London was very fun and I was ecstatic to see the actual setting of where some scenes in my next book take place–also made it easier to describe! The food isn’t terrible at all! As for Dublin, we were only there for just over a day, so I didn’t get to see much of Ireland, but one day is probably long enough to see the city. Our last stop was Edinburgh, one of the most stunningly gorgeous cities I’ve ever seen in person–perhaps the most beautiful. I was able to see the Trossachs and Stirling Castle as well. Scotland was my favorite of the three, hands down. It is therefore my hearty recommendation to go there if you can!
And without further ado, a few pictures for your viewing pleasure~
Thanks for reading!

Wonderful photos! My husband and I hiked through the Highlands for three weeks a year ago and it was a magical three weeks – then spend another week in Edinburgh – amazing! Your trip must have been great!
